The Evolved Dietitian®

Hello there, I’m Diane Kopelakis, MS, RD. I call myself “The Evolved Dietitian®” because I’ve had to evolve and reform myself from some of the nutritional falsehoods that I, and the rest of us, were fed over the last 50+ years regarding the needs of the human body. These fallacies harmed me, my family, and likely you. I will truly forever be “evolving” as all health professionals should so that this happens no more.

I am a registered and licensed dietitian with 30 years experience in clinical dietetics, community nutrition, fitness and corporate wellness using my multi-faceted experience including the use of various psychosocial models of habit change to effectively coach individuals & groups to reach their goals and maintain them. But this should NOT be what impresses you. It IS my own research and training in metabolic health and resilience that completes my unique talents that has enabled me to create a multi-faceted and effective wellness approach. I can help you improve your health & wellness issues via my empowering C.L.E.A.R. Approach to Wellness®. I counsel individuals, couplies, families and worksites.

I am here to help you.

Health Bio & Experience

I have personal experience with auto-immune issues: poor metabolic health (high blood glucose, high lipids, low energy), hypo & hyper thyroid, mold toxicity, fibromyalgia, rheumatoid arthritis, anxiety, connective tissue disorder, and more… despite “eating right”. But, eating right permitted these issues to come through for an easier diagnosis and gave me the stamina to get through each issue thrown my way.

My experience with various conditions of my own and second-hand (family) such as: autism, Alzheimer’s dementia, Lewy-Body dementia/Parkinson’s, heart disease, diabetes, major depressive disorder, and anxiety permits me the understanding it takes to provide well-rounded supportive counseling.

Then there’s CAREGIVING (nuff said). I get “life” and how difficult it can be at times. I’m here for you.

I stay healthy by walk-jogging, kayaking and weight-lifting while eating a low carbohydrate, moderate-higher real fat & protein (esp. low processed food) diet without calorie-counting! I stay sane via a great diet, movement, continual education, working and hanging with family and friends.
