Wellness Clarified Will Improve Your Employee Wellness

(productivity, culture & health care costs).

We specialize in getting to the root cause of chronic disease—poor metabolic health driven by both poor diet and poor environment. This is why increasing awareness through individualized counseling, administrative support, and targeted group programs is so effective.

Improving Nutrition & the R.E.S.T. is the key.

“Half the costs of illness are wasted on conditions that could be prevented.”

– Dr. Joseph Pizzorno

Our C.L.E.A.R. Approach to Wellness® is designed for all worksites and offers multiple avenues to engage employees—whether or not they realize they are at risk for common (and less common) chronic diseases that can impact both their quality of life and your business.

Our program is like no other wellness program that integrates nutrition and other lifestyle interventions, with a strong emphasis on circadian health, to help reduce chronic disease risk, enhance mental health, build resilience, and support better life decisions—including financial well-being. This ultimately improves quality of life and lowers healthcare costs.

We achieve this through a blend of evidence-based and nature-based research, incorporating:

  • Psychosocial models of behavior change,

  • Flexible but powerful metabolic food therapy (The Blank Slate Diet), and

  • Environmental strategies for support (The R.E.S.T. Protocol).

The results? Measurable improvements in:

  1. Health and wellness—accessible to all employees

  2. Employee morale and retention

  3. Productivity and functional capacity

  4. Corporate reputation and trust

  5. Reduced medical and insurance costs

This program is flexible, adaptive, and effective.

Be ready to transform the lives of your employees—and the future of your business.
Because you and your team deserve a wellness solution that works.

BE AWARE…

We Are Not Body Weight-Centric.

That said, weight loss is a common side effect for individuals with higher BMIs—when metabolic health improves.

Traditional weight-focused wellness programs often fail because they:

  • Single out and encourage blame toward individuals in larger bodies (~65%+ of the population), even though some may be more metabolically healthy than their thinner counterparts.

  • Alienate employees by suggesting that “perfection” is the goal—causing many to disengage entirely.

  • Overlook metabolic risk in thinner employees. Those with high blood pressure at a lower body weight may be more metabolically unhealthy than an overweight person with normal blood pressure.

📊 Nearly 90% of adults are metabolically unhealthy, yet only 65% are overweight or obese.

The remaining 10% may be blessed—or simply not showing signs yet.

Miss the mark entirely. Focusing solely on body weight is ineffective. Body weight ≠ body fat. And even body fat is merely a symptom of deeper metabolic dysfunction.
When metabolic health improves, body composition often improves as a byproduct—not as the primary focus.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

This does not mean we avoid discussing weight loss.
Rather, it means we do not judge, incentivize, or penalize based on body weight or BMI alone—

Unless measurable improvements in overall metabolic health are also present.

In fact, this inclusive and science-based approach makes wellness programs more effective, more equitable, and more engaging.

Their success is your success.

“It’s not about obesity, it never was.

The key to the kingdom is that it is not about obesity, it is about metabolic dysfunction and anyone can get it, and that’s what makes it a public health crisis, because obesity is a result of the problem, not the cause.

— Robert Lustig, MD, MSL

Employee nutrition & environment-based* lifestyle counseling is a staple in wellness programs and is available in two forms (see options below). But of even more importance is a program that caters to the mind-set of the individual.

Each program focuses on meeting the individual where they’re at with a focus on reducing nutrition-based metabolic issues impacting their quality of life, health, corporate productivity and insurance costs. Many of these issues manifest as seemingly unrelated, benign conditions, but they are not and THEY COST YOU and your employees a great deal. Examples include:

  • High blood pressure

  • High blood glucose

  • Deranged blood lipids

  • Inflammation

  • Poor focus

  • Forgetfulness

  • Absenteeism

  • Depression

  • Fatigue

  • Anxiety

  • Some cancers

  • Poor immunity & MORE.

*NOT “climate-associated”

How much are you paying for these?

We provide more than “health coaching”
and “Disease-management”.

We don’t “manage” disease. We aim for “disease remission/resolution”and optimal health and wellness. We provide medical-nutrition therapy plus the R.E.S.T. which is superior to “health” coaching, basic dietitian-counseling or disease-management services provided by other companies.
